Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine developed a draft law amending the Law of Ukraine "On the Nature Reserve Fund of Ukraine" and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences.
"The draft document introduces a ban on the passage of vehicles through the territories of nature reserves. The ban will not apply to public roads, streets and roads of cities and other settlements, as well as roads on private territories. This will help protect biodiversity from destruction and chemical pollution, noise and vibrations caused by cars," the Ministry of Environment said.
