Farm "Raiskyi Ugolok"

The village of Horinchovo is home to a unique eco-farm with more than 15 species of wild and domestic animals and exotic birds.

The owner of the land, Vasyl Shymon, first started with sheep, then he got buffaloes. They are the most difficult to care for. Every year, they need to be treated twice with a special solution against ticks, kept clean and tidy. These horned animals, despite their formidable and sturdy appearance, are actually very clean, respectful and hardy. They calmly approach visitors and allow themselves to be petted. The owner keeps them in the field all the time, and only takes them to the premises designated for them at night. That's why the buffaloes have very healthy milk, as they are walked outdoors every day and eat nutritious grass. Currently, there are 17 buffaloes on the farm, including 4 bulls and 13 buffaloes.

In addition to sheep and buffaloes, the farm is home to roe deer, horses, hares, wild boars, wild and domestic ducks and chickens, pheasants, peacocks and ostrich. Deer roam among the young plantations of vitamin trees. They are not afraid of people at all.

Their neighbours are wild boars. Although it's hard to call them wild, the owner calmly approaches them and feeds them grass and hay almost from his hand. She often goes for walks and spends almost all day in the yard. The owner is planning to add another ostrich to the farm - a mate for the female. You can ride on the shiny hutsul horses with long combed manes and white "toes". Even children are not afraid to ride a raven, which rides those who wish to do so carefully and respectfully.

Along with exotic animals, there are also winged ones - graceful peacocks, dwarf chicken families, colourful pheasants and ducks that make friends with fluffy bunnies and walk together on their lands.

The farm is also famous for producing its own organic cheeses made with lemon juice and natural Transcarpathian sourdough starter, vurda, brynza, kefir, sour cream made from sheep, cow and, with a fat content of 12-15%, buffalo milk, which are used to make tasting plates. You can taste a range of fruit tinctures - Kalganovka, apricot, cherry, nettle - and then enjoy authentic Transcarpathian dishes. That's why there are always a lot of visitors here. Especially during the holidays. And the hospitable hosts are always happy to welcome guests.
