Borzhava Castle

Initially, there was a wooden castle called Borshoe, where the subordinates of the Bulgarian Prince Salan lived. In 903, after a three-day occupation, it was taken over by Hungarian tribes. Later, a stone fortress was built on the site of the wooden fortress. After the Tatar-Mongol invasion of Western Europe in 1241-1243, the fortress began to decline. During the Turkish attacks on Transcarpathia in 1566, it was completely destroyed.
