At the invitation of the Department of Tourism and Resorts, a traveller from Riga, Janis Grandans, visits Transcarpathia. The author of a travel blog on one of the most popular websites in Latvia travels around Europe with his family, telling about the tourist magnets of each region.
"We agreed to cooperate with Janis Grandanis during the largest international exhibition of the Baltic region "Balttour 2025", at which the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration represented The national stand of Ukraine. Our goal is to introduce the world to the tourist highlights of the region, and promotion from well-known bloggers will be useful," said Marianna Gotra, noting that the specialists of the Tourism and Resorts Department helped the traveller to plan a route to interesting locations in the region.
For the first day of his acquaintance with Transcarpathia, Janis Grandans chose Mukachevo, where he visited the Palanok Castle with his guide Serhii Prokop and took a picture in the sakura alley. The blogger plans to see, touch and taste the regions of Transcarpathia with their distinctive cultural and tourist heritage.
