The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration (TRS) reports that in January-February 2025, UAH 4 million 535 thousand 100 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of Transcarpathian region, which is 28.2 per cent more than in the same period in 2024. This includes: the tourist tax paid by individuals is UAH 2,419.2 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities is UAH 2,115.9 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 926.6 thousand; Baranyntsi village - UAH 447.5 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 856.1 thousand; the village of Pylypets - UAH 250.2 thousand; the city of Beregovo - UAH 307.3 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 277.7 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 304.1 thousand; the village of Onokivtsi - UAH 142.2 thousand; the city of Vynogradiv - UAH 163.9 thousand; Vyshka village - UAH 108.8 thousand.
