The 230 km long KARPATYMAN Extreme Triathlon will take place in Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
The competition will start on 12 October in the icy water of the Vilshany Reservoir, where the athletes will swim 3.8 km. After that, the triathletes will cycle 182 km over steep ascents and steep descents, including the Yablunetsky Pass (altitude gain of 2199 m).
The 44.8 km running stage will finish on the highest mountain in Ukraine - Hoverla (1771 m). The toughest athletes from all over Ukraine have already registered to take part in the competition: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vyshgorod, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Ternopil, Rivne and Odesa.
