In January-August 2024, UAH 14 million 24 thousand 200 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 2 % more than in the same period in 2023.
In particular, the tourist tax paid by individuals is UAH 7,796.3 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities is UAH 6,227.6 thousand," the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration reports.
The largest amounts of tourist tax went to the budgets of local communities:
м. Uzhhorod - UAH 2,767.3 thousand;
с. Polyana village - UAH 2,681.9 thousand;
с. Baranyntsi village - UAH 1,213.8 thousand;
с. Koson village - UAH 1,034.7 thousand;
м. Mukachevo - UAH 1,001.4 thousand;
м. Berehove - UAH 771.1 thousand;
м. Vynogradiv - UAH 491.6 thousand;
с. Vyshka - UAH 484.4 thousand;
с. Pylypets village - UAH 375.4 thousand;
с. Turie-Remeta village - UAH 333.1 thousand.
