More than 1,000 Transcarpathians took part in the race "I honour the soldiers, I run for the heroes of Ukraine". Among them were representatives of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Oleksandra Horzov and Olga Galushka, who ran for Taras Haiduk and Ivan Divynets.
In addition to Uzhhorod, the race was held simultaneously in different Ukrainian cities.
The event was organised by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration and the Regional Centre for Physical Health "Sport for All".
