During a meeting with the owner of the Craft's Zakarpattia Basket Craft's shop, Kostyantyn Voyedylo, representatives of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration agreed to open a tourist information centre on the shop's premises.
In addition, Marianna Gotra and Oleksandra Horzov handed over information products about Transcarpathia to the institution, which will be useful to guests of the region.
Maps of Transcarpathia, guidebooks with tourist routes, guides to the highlights of the region, booklets with safety rules for tourists, etc. will be placed next to the tasting room.
By the way, the craft shop on Dukhnovycha Street is the second one in Uzhhorod (another one is located on S. Petofi Square). The shop offers products from 70 craft producers from different parts of Transcarpathia, including honey, cheese, beer, wine, meat products, sweets and other products made in the region.
