On 3-4 December, a charity fair in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held on Fentsyk Square in Uzhhorod.
The patriotic event, organised by the Movement to Support Transcarpathian Soldiers, took place on the eve of St Nicholas Day according to the Gregorian calendar and was called "Meet St Nicholas - Help the Armed Forces".
An entertainment programme for children was arranged near the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, a charity photo zone, a fair of handmade and craft producers, and a win-win lottery.
Highlights of the event included jousting and a procession of Mikolajczyks. According to the organisers, all funds raised at the charity fair will be donated to the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
