In January-September 2022, UAH 14 million 331 thousand 900 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is almost 88.5% more than in the same period of 2021 and 252% more than in the same period of 2020.
This was reported by the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
The tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 6,785.4 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities was UAH 7,546.5 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were received by the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 3,754.2 thousand; Baranyntsi village - UAH 2,122.9 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 1,885.8 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 858.8 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 807.7 thousand; Yasinya - UAH 619.8 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 539.5 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 505.3 thousand; Turia-Remeta - UAH 457.0 thousand; Beregovo - UAH 439.7 thousand; and Berehove - UAH 439.3 thousand; the city of Vynohradiv - UAH 438.2 thousand.
