On the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, regional cultural institutions and creative teams of the region prepared a number of events.
Thursday, 27 June:
At 10:00 - in the atrium of the building of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and Regional Council, there will be the opening of a charity exhibition of works by artists-members of the Transcarpathian Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine based on the results of the spring plein air held this year with the support of the Department of Culture.
On Friday, 28 June:
From 10:00 to 16:00, the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library invites you to join the embroidery of a map of Ukraine (participation in the event is free upon prior registration, the necessary materials are provided by the organisers). Visitors to the library will also be able to see the thematic book exhibition "The Power of Law is the Power of the State".
On this day, the Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth will also reveal the meaning of this important holiday to its readers with book exhibitions "The Constitution of Ukraine - a symbol of independence of the Ukrainian spirit" (youth service department), "The Constitution - the amulet of our state" (service department for grades 5-9) and "The Constitution for everyone: big and small" (service department for grades 1-4).
At 11:00, in the Uzhhorod Castle, Tyvodar Lehotskyi Local History Museum, there will be a lecture "The Constitution is the Guarantor of Freedom" by Mykhailo Dzhakhman, Head of the Department of Modern History and the Augustine Voloshyn Memorial Museum-Room.
At 15:00 - in the hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y. Bokshai, an exhibition of works of small plastic art by the famous artist, member of the National Union of Artists, teacher of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts Mykhailo Khodanych, who is currently defending Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, will open.
At 18:00 - an open-air concert performed by the Academic brass band of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic. The official page (conductor - People's Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Spivak) and soloists - Honoured Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Sadvariy, Yevhen Tsanko, Halyna Havrylko and Sofia Hryhorieva (in front of the Philharmonic building).
At 19:00 - "An Evening of Theatre Music" by the Yama Orchestra of the Transcarpathian Academic Music and Drama Theatre named after the Sherehiy brothers (open-air stage).
