XIX International Festival "Interlialka"
The XIX International Interlialka Festival will start in Uzhhorod in early October. This year, puppeteers from eight countries will present their best performances for children and adults.
The grand opening of the art event will take place on 1 October at 13.00 on Teatralna Square, near the Transcarpathian Academic Puppet Theatre "Bavka"
"Interlialka is the oldest festival in independent Ukraine. Since 1990, it has consistently maintained its popularity not only in our country but also abroad. The festival will be attended by 21 professional teams. Among them are puppeteers from the leading academic theatres of Ukraine. Traditionally, creative youth will also take part.
Some of the performances of foreign guests are based on our folk tales or have elements of Ukrainian authenticity. This demonstrates the strong foreign support for Ukraine in its struggle.
On 1-3 October, be sure to visit Interlialka. Entrance to the performances of amateur groups is free, and tickets will be available for viewing the creative works of professional groups.
