6 March at the Mihaly Munkácsy Hungarian House in Mukachevo has opened вhe exhibition of works by Transcarpathian graphic artist and painter Andrii Antoniev.

The exhibition of 45 works presents a unique artistic experience, bringing the viewer closer to the world of the artist, whose work is born from a deep interweaving of nature and emotions. Andriy Antoniev is a graphic artist and painter who, by his own admission, draws inspiration from nature, less often from society, and is able to convey its beauty, strength and harmony through his work. His prints are full of emotional tension, shape and energy flow, while his paintings are more calm and analytical.

Andriy Antoniev said that the exhibition is a collection of works from the last 8 months. "The paintings reflect our emotions, memories and, perhaps, our current reality. There are also nostalgic flashbacks. A variety of themes appear in the images, each work is a reflection of certain inner experiences. Some of them also touch on religious themes. The titles of my works are just a guideline, I want the viewer to let their imagination run wild," the artist said.

The event allowed art lovers to immerse themselves in a unique world inspired by nature through paintings and prints. The opening of the exposition was accompanied by music from the Rusnak folk band.

The exhibition at the Mihaly Munkácsy Hungarian House will run until 1 April.
