Requiem exhibition "A Tragedy with No Expiry Date"
For International Holocaust Remembrance Day on 27 January 2026 at 3:00 PM, the T. Legotsky Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Local Lore will host the opening of a temporary exhibition-requiem entitled "A Tragedy Without Expiration."
In the programme of the requiem exhibition:
– a display of photographs from the Holocaust period in Transcarpathia;
– original exhibits from the museum's collections;
– a thematic museum installation dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Nazi genocide
The Requiem exhibition is a tribute to the memory of millions of innocent victims and a reminder of a tragedy that has neither a statute of limitations nor the right to be forgotten.
