On 1 June, a volunteer festival initiated by students of the European School of Leadership and Business will take place in Mukachevo's Youth Park.

The event is timed to coincide with the Children's Day and aims to promote volunteering among the townspeople, engaging them in useful activities to support Ukrainian defenders.

The organisers are planning to set up several active locations where everyone will be able to join the volunteer work with their own hands:

making trench candles;
weaving camouflage nets;
handmade zone;
location with drones;
board games with PLASToons.

The festival will last throughout the day, and at the end of it, a joint screening of Ukrainian films will take place in the open air by the Latorytsia River.

The event is supported by the city authorities, and volunteer organisations in Zakarpattia have joined in the preparation.

The organisers invite all Mukachevo residents and visitors to spend the day with benefit - to join the volunteering, to support, to help, to do a good deed with their own hands.
