On 10 September, the International Theatre Festival of Monologues on the Uzh starts in Uzhhorod.
This year, it will be held for the fifth time and will bring together participants from Uzhhorod, Berehove, Khust, Drohobych, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, and Spisska Nova Vesey (Slovakia).
Every day, from 10 to 15 September, two performances will be presented to theatre-goers. The performances will take place at the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre named after the Sherehiy brothers, the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Puppet Theatre and the Academy of Culture and Arts.
According to the organisers, the festival will raise funds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with the NGO Movement to Support Transcarpathian Soldiers.
