From 24–26 March, the Open Festival-Competition of Theatre Arts "Uzhhorod March" will be held for the second time in the regional centre of Transcarpathia.

A unique event on the eve of International Theatre Day is being jointly organised by the Department of Culture of the Zakarpattia Oblast State Administration and the Academy of Culture and Arts. This year, it will bring together ten student acting ensembles from five higher education institutions in Ukraine.

The festival will take place on three sites – the theatre stages of the Academy of Culture and Arts, the Yu.-A. Brothers Music and Drama Theatre, and the "Bavka" Regional Puppet Theatre. Students and their teachers will be able to assess the level of acting schools from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Uzhhorod and compete for victory in 4 nominations.
