Uzhhorod Puppy Race
Who said sports activities are only for humans?
This Friday, 25th July, the charity run with four-legged companions "Uzhhorod Puppy Race" awaits you.
All those who wish, with their pets, are invited to join the event and cover a distance of their choice:
400m – for a brisk pace
1 km – for a real challenge
Charity event.
The funds raised will be used to purchase kennels for stray animals for the "Barbos" shelter.
Conditions of participation in the pet run:
1. Dogs that are healthy, with a valid veterinary passport and rabies vaccination are eligible to participate.
2. Leashes are mandatory. Muzzles are optional, but mandatory for fighting dog breeds.
3. One participant per dog. The owner must have full control over their pet.
4. The owner undertakes to clean up after the dog.
The Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of Uzhhorod City Council invites everyone to the starting location on Postova Square (near the "I Love Uzhhorod" sign).
18:00 – 20:00 – Registration
8:00 PM – warm-up
20:30 – Start
Organisers: Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of Uzhhorod City Council and Public Organisation "Uzhhorod Animal Welfare Society 'Barbos'".
A pleasant gift from the event sponsor – the charity organization “United for Animals Charitable Foundation” – is provided for every registered participant.
A special gift from the Zakarpattia regional branch of the Cynological Union of Ukraine "Fortis" awaits the most agile four-legged friend.
The organisers are not responsible for the behaviour of animals.
