27 October is the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. On this occasion, regional cultural institutions have prepared a number of thematic events. We publish the programme and invite you to attend.

23 October at 14:00 - concert "Ukraine is my love" in the art space of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y. Bokshai.
Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y. Bokshay
On 24 October at 15:00 - opening of the book and documentary exhibition "The Royal Gospel: Text and Context in the Dimensions of Time" (branch of the Folk Literary Museum of Transcarpathia).
Transcarpathian Regional Theatre of Drama and Comedy (Khust)
On 24 October at 17:00 - a master class in Ukrainian stage language for pupils, students and everyone interested.
Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth
On 24-25 October, a series of events dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language for young and young users of the library: a linguistic and literary quiz "Word to Word - a Language Will Form", a language quest "Through the Labyrinths of Language", book exhibitions "Ukrainian is the language of unity" and "A Treasure that has no price...", a language NON-STOP "Native Language Treasures", etc.
Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library named after F. Potushnyak
On 25 October, at 11:00, the library invites you to jointly write the All-Ukrainian radio dictation of national unity, at 16:00 the winners of the Art of the Book contest will be awarded, and at 17:30 - a creative meeting with Ukrainian writer Olga Salipa.

25 October at 14:00 - a lesson for schoolchildren in the museum's old school from the village of Synevyrska Poliana, Mizhhiria district, to get acquainted with samples of the printed word of the early 20th century.

27 October at 18:00 - screening of the fantastic trap drama The Station based on the play by the famous contemporary Ukrainian playwright Oleksandr Vitr.
Uzhhorod Castle, Tyvodar Lehotskyi Museum of Local Lore
29 October at 15:00 - a lecture "Ukrainian Writing: History, Modern Stage and Ways to Popularise the Native Word" by Serhiy Hanus, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Modern History of Ukraine and Foreign Countries, Faculty of History and International Relations, Uzhhorod National University, as well as a presentation of an exhibition of old prints from the museum's collection.
Transcarpathian Regional Organisational and Methodological Centre of Culture
On 31 October at 16:00 - presentation of the book "Tales of Transcarpathia in the Records of Ivan Khlanta" by Ivan Khlanta, a well-known folklorist and literary critic, leading methodologist of the OMCU, in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library named after F. Potushnyak.
