It's going to be interesting in the skansen again this weekend!
The Uzhhorod Skansen invites you to the play "Stolen Happiness" based on the work of Ivan Franko.

The event will be held with the support of the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration in cooperation with the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Puppet Theatre "Bavka", the Kurbas National Centre for Theatre Arts, and the Karpenko-Kary National University of Theatre and Cinema in Kyiv.
The performance is a part of the QUintessence project, which brings classic works of our literature to life in the locations where they could have been hypothetically performed. In this case, a French drama about rural life will be performed in front of the audience in a Hutsul manor house in the village of Stebnyi, Rakhiv district, which is part of the Uzhhorod Skansen exhibition. The principle of quintessence implies that we should focus our attention on what interests us the most - "Is it possible to return stolen love and happiness?" Social problems, crime, the warlord and Babych and Shloma are left out of the play. You are looking at a love triangle with human lives, regrets, love and hopes on its sides. You will be able to see how Franko's characters will try to solve it in the performance of young artists, students of Maestro Oleg Shavarsky's workshop at the Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Arts and Crafts:

Mykhailo is Taras Lushpa;
The play is directed by Taras Zhirko, People's Artist of Ukraine, director of the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre (Kyiv).
The performance is 40 minutes long.
The performance will be held twice - at 14.00 and 15.00.
Entrance by museum tickets.
At the end of the performance, a meeting of the actors with students of the Academy of Culture and Arts of the Zorya Academy of Arts and Uzhhorod theatre will take place in the small exhibition hall of the museum.
