A real creative holiday for young actors and spectators! On 12-14 May, the All-Ukrainian Children's Theatre Festival-Award "Golden Tassel" will be held for the first time in Transcarpathia.
Six children's acting groups from the capital, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Mykolaiv regions will present their performances. More than 120 young theatregoers will perform on the big stage of the Regional Music and Drama Theatre in Uzhhorod.

Over the course of three days, the most titled children's theatre groups in the country will present 10 diverse performances on the big stage of the Regional Music and Drama Theatre. Their creative works will be evaluated by a professional jury chaired by a well-known Uzhhorod resident - theatre and film actress, public figure and TV presenter Rimma Zyubina.

In addition to the performances, the participants and guests of the festival-award will also be able to enjoy various creative activities, including master classes in acting, plastic arts and vocals from the star jury and People's Artist of Ukraine Lesya Gorova, a creative meeting with famous theatre and film artists, a panel discussion, a theatrical and artistic historical quest in Uzhhorod Castle and a tour of the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theatre.
The event officially starts on 12 May at 17:00.
The festival will be opened by The Theatre Studio at 18:00 with the performance The Circle of Life, and will end on 14 May at 12:20 with the performance of the play April Fish by the Zaporizhzhia Theatre SViYa. The award ceremony will follow.
