THE PHILHARMONIC INVITES YOU TO A TANGO EVENING
On 12 March, the Transcarpathian Philharmonic invites you to an evening of incendiary Argentine tango "SPRING IN BUENOS AIRES IN THE RHYTHM OF TANGO". Teachers and students of the Uzhhorod Music College will perform famous works of the Argentine musician and brilliant composer of the twentieth century Astor Piazzolla, whose musical masterpieces have fundamentally changed all ideas about traditional tango. With his work, the composer raised the musical genre to a new professional level and gained worldwide recognition for the dance.
The aim of the project is to introduce Uzhhorod residents and guests to the style pioneered by the composer, known as Tango Nuevo, where the fiery rhythms of tango are harmoniously intertwined with elements of jazz and classical music. The guests of the concert will find many surprises that will become an integral part of the romantic spring evening. After all, Astor Piazzolla's music will be performed in a diverse kaleidoscope of timbres of various instruments.
The audience will enjoy a tango full of passion and light romantic tenderness. Live sound, live emotions. The masters of their craft will present the warmest and most festive notes of Argentine tango to all those present!
