The third Krayna Uzhhorod Marathon
Third Krayna Uzhhorod Marathon gathers participants to help veterans
Uzhhorod is preparing to host the third Krayna Uzhhorod Marathon, an event that proves every time that running can be more than just a sport.
On 11 May, the marathon will be held again as a charity initiative. All funds raised from the participants will be transferred to support the Ukrainian rehabilitation platform SuperHumans, which is engaged in the physical and psychological recovery of soldiers who have lost limbs or been seriously injured as a result of the war.
The organisers of the Krayna Uzhhorod Marathon are a team consisting of representatives of business, media, sports and local government.
The event programme includes several distances: a marathon, a half marathon, a team relay, a 10 km race and a 2 km charity route, which traditionally attracts the largest number of participants: from families with children to the elderly. This particular course is about solidarity, not about finishing time.
Registration for the event lasts until May at runstyle.net/events/krayna-uzhhorod-marathon-2025.
