Open Day at Palanok Castle: Mukachevo residents and city guests are invited to the historical museum

The Mukachevo Historical Museum "Palanok" Castle will open its doors to everyone during a special event.

 26 September 2025 from 14:00 to 17:00 There will be an Open Day at the castle. During this time, entry for visitors will be free of charge.

The event is taking place as part of a nationwide initiative by the State Agency for Tourism Development, aimed at popularising cultural heritage and engaging citizens in the study of history.

Residents and tourists are invited to take the opportunity to visit one of Transcarpathia's main landmarks for free, combining unique architecture and centuries of history.

"Palanok" Castle is one of the most valuable monuments of medieval fortification in Ukraine and attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world every year.
