18 May traditionally marks 2 interesting events at once - the International Museum Day and the Day of Vyshyvanka! <\/strong>Every year, most museums and other institutions in Ukraine join in the celebration and organise various events dedicated to these holidays.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, where to go on 18 May and how do they celebrate these events in Zakarpattia?<\/em><\/p>\n

Uzhhorod Castle<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Tour of the Uzhhorod Castle, the dungeons of the fortress, permanent exhibitions and displays from 10:00 to 18:00. Entrance is free.<\/p>\n

According to a good tradition, the entrance to the fortress will be free and visitors will have the opportunity to walk through the halls and expositions of the ancient fortress.<\/p>\n

Free guided tours of the museum will start at 11, 12, 14, 15 o'clock at the gate.
\nFrom 15:00 to 18:00, the Castle Guard exhibition will be open all the time, where you will be shown, told and allowed to touch the equipment of the XIV-XIX century fortress garrison.<\/p>\n

The museum also joins the fundraising campaign #MILLIONforUAF, which is organised with the help of students of Mukachevo TG. So, everyone who visits the Mukachevo History Museum on 18 May will be able to take part in the fundraising!<\/p>\n

Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y. Bokshai\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

On 18 May 2023, we invite you to the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y. Bokshai to celebrate the International Museum Day.<\/p>\n

18 May - Open Day. Admission is free from 10.00-20.00<\/p>\n

As part of the museum programme :<\/p>\n

A musical and literary composition - \"Constellation of colour, music, words\".<\/p>\n

Synthesis of arts: fine arts, music and literature.
