On 10 November, a new exhibition \"Chronicles of Palanok Castle\" was opened!<\/strong><\/p>

The Mukachevo History Museum was established in 1989 on the basis of the Mukachevo History Branch of the Transcarpathian Museum of Local Lore. Most of the museum exhibitions are housed in the Palanok Castle. The castle is one of the main objects of historical and cultural heritage of the Transcarpathian region, a national historical monument of Ukraine and one of the most valuable preserved monuments of historical and military architecture of the XIV-XVII centuries, a model of medieval fortification art that combines styles of different historical eras.<\/p>

The museum covers an area of more than 3,500 square metres and has more than 8,000 museum exhibits.<\/p>
