One of the top reasons to visit Zakarpattia in autumn is balneology and spa. After all, the region offers more than 30 types of mineral water for various medical and health purposes, thermal pools, where it is incredibly relaxing to swim in the autumn temperature and beauty. There are also modern spa areas and a colourful attraction - open-air vats in the embrace of Transcarpathian nature in the colours of autumn.<\/strong><\/p>

Balneology<\/strong><\/p>

Medical and health resort tourism was probably most associated with Zakarpattia 50, 30, 20 years ago. But it is certainly still the case today. Sanatoriums are developing in such a way as to provide services not only to Ukrainian but also to foreign tourists.<\/p>

A natural feature of the region is the largest number of mineral water types in Ukraine. Each has microelements that affect certain functions of different organs.<\/p>

For example, all types of Luzhanskaya are low-mineral, it has a gentle effect on the human body and is easily excreted, giving a good therapeutic result.<\/p>

In Svalyava district there are\u00a0\"Polyana Kupil\"<\/strong>water, which is classified as water of medium mineralisation. It contains carbon dioxide, potassium, sodium, and calcium. \"Polyana Kupil\" can also be called mineral carbonate hydrocarbonate due to its composition, and is often prescribed for the treatment of the gastrointestinal tract, especially the stomach.<\/p>

In Svalyava district there are also\u00a0\"Kvasova Polyana\"<\/strong>\u00a0- it is classified as water with a high amount of salts. Sometimes doctors recommend diluting this water when treating gastrointestinal diseases due to the high salt content.<\/p>

If we talk about\u00a0\"The flower of the meadow\"<\/strong>\u00a0In Svaliava district, we have three mineral waters that are supplied directly from the well. This allows us to have a wide range of indications for treatment. Previously, the sanatorium was positioned only as a gastroenterological one, but here it has been scientifically proven that these waters are very effective in treating kidney and urinary tract diseases. For example, Luzhanska 4.<\/p>

- We have very good hydrogen sulphide baths, which are effective for diseases of the musculoskeletal system. We also have other equipment for working with such problems that is not available anywhere else in the region. In general, all the waters of Svaliava district are best suited for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract with increased secretory function of the stomach (high acidity).<\/p>

But in Khust district there are\u00a0Shayanskaya mineral water<\/strong>, which is a water of medium mineralisation, is effective in treating liver and biliary tract pathologies because it contains magnesium.<\/p>

IN\u00a0Gornaya Tysa sanatorium<\/strong>\"Arsenic-radon mineral water is used in the Rakhiv region. It is effective in treating patients with musculoskeletal disorders. In addition, it is also carbon dioxide-free, and radon and arsenic are in such quantities that the water can be used for internal and external consumption.<\/p>

IN\u00a0Sinyak sanatorium<\/strong>\u00a0The mineral water from Mukachevo district contains a large amount of hydrogen sulphide, which is used to treat diseases of the musculoskeletal system.<\/p>

We have extraordinary ferruginous mineral waters, which are rich in Mizhhiria region.<\/p>

There are wells in the village of Kelechyn in Khust district that constantly produce water with a large amount of iron, the stream is all red. Soimovskaya mineral water also has iron in its composition, and the Verkhovyna sanatorium was built on its springs. In 1996-97, a department was opened there to treat patients with diseases of the haematopoietic system.<\/p>

In Uzhhorod district, on the territory of the sanatorium complex\u00a0\"Derenivska Kupil<\/strong>The company produces Zakarpatska 1 mineral water, Zakarpatska 2 thermal water and Derenivska Kupil drinking water from artesian wells. Here, at our own plant, we bottle mineral and drinking water using the \"no jet break\" technology, which preserves all the natural properties of the water.
