Decree No. 266\/2023 of the President of Ukraine dated 8 May 2023 established Europe Day in Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on 9 May together with the European Union.<\/p>\n
On the occasion of Europe Day, regional cultural institutions and cultural educational institutions prepared a number of events:

\nThe Academy of Culture and Arts - a concert programme of Ukrainian and Italian songs performed by Artem Pozdnyakov, a student of the university (17:00);

\nTranscarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth - Eurocruise \"Discovering Europe Together\" (service department for grades 5-9) and virtual tour \"Countries of Europe\" (service department for youth);
\nTranscarpathian Regional Art Museum - an exhibition of fine art \"Seven Natural Wonders of Transcarpathia\" dedicated to the Europe Day and the promotion of natural beauty in the Carpathians and in the valleys of the Tisa, Latorytsia, and Uzh rivers;
\nTranscarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life - a lecture-presentation by the museum director, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vasyl Kotsan for students \"The role of international cooperation in the development of museums and the preservation of historical and cultural heritage (on the example of the Uzhhorod Skansen) (13:00); a master class on making hearts from herbs and other eco-friendly materials (14:00);
