Forum "Tourism in Ukraine: Present-Day Demands"

The Uman City Council, with the support of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine, is organising the IV Tourist-Economic Forum "Tourism in Ukraine: Today's Requirements" on 1-2 May 2026 in Uman.

The forum aims to consolidate the efforts of authorities, communities, businesses, the expert environment, and the cultural sector towards shaping competitive Ukrainian tourist destinations in the current climate.

The forum will be a platform for discussing the following thematic areas:

tourist tax as a resource for territorial development

creation of the Cucuteni-Trypillia cross-border tourist corridor,

The role of parks and recreational areas in the development of tourism and the mental recovery of Ukrainians.

gastronomic and event tourism as a powerful driver of tourist flows,

The significance of culture, historical heritage, and creative industries in shaping unique tourism offerings.

The forum will become a platform for sharing experiences, presenting successful practices, establishing partnerships, and forming a common vision for the future of Ukrainian tourism. The forum's programme includes panel discussions, networking, experience exchange, and the presentation of the tourism potential of the Uman community and region.
