The exhibition "Signs of the Carpathians" at the Uzhhorod Skansen

An exhibition by Olena Kondratiuk, "Signs of the Carpathians," has opened at the Uzhhorod open-air museum.
Konratyuk Olena (born 1958) is an Honoured Artist of Ukraine, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and the Association of Creative Women of Transcarpathia "New Form", and a senior lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts. Laureate of the regional prize named after A. Erdeli and Y. Bokshai, 2011, "Painting" nomination.
In 1981, she graduated from Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (teachers M. Bezpal'kiv, D. Dovboshynskyi, V. Ovsiichuk). After completing her studies, she moved to Uzhhorod with her husband in 1982. She worked as a costume designer at the Zakarpattia Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre and as chief artist at the Zakarpattia Regional Puppet Theatre.
Participant of regional, national and international exhibitions and plein airs, various art projects, curator of a series of art exhibitions. Held 15 solo exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad.
The artist's works are held in the collections of the Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art (Medzilaborce), local history museums (Trebišov, Michalovce), the Zemplín Museum (Slovakia), the Ivano-Frankivsk Art Museum, and the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y. Bokshai.
