The event is being organised by the Charitable Foundation "Caritas-Caritas" of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic Eparchy with the aim of organising a celebration for the elderly, allowing them to feel important and needed, and providing an opportunity for interesting joint leisure time.

The organisers are announcing a packed programme which includes spiritual exercises, a concert programme, as well as sincere conversation, refreshments and pleasant surprises.

The highlight of the festival will be a performance by the Honoured Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir. Visitors will be treated to folk and spiritual songs, and dances from both the "golden" treasury and contemporary repertoire, performed by the choir's artists and leading soloists.

As artistic director and chief conductor, Honoured Cultural Worker of Ukraine Nataliia Petii-Potapchuk notes, the ensemble has been collaborating with the "Caritas-Caritas" Charitable Foundation for a long time. In particular, they have repeatedly organised creative meetings with elderly people, including concert performances, masterclasses, excursions into the history of the Transcarpathian Folk Choir, and introductions to traditional instruments, among other activities.

The "Golden Leaf" festival will begin at 11:00 AM on the premises of "Caritas-Caritas" MCYE Charitable Foundation (2A Patrus-Karpathskyi Street). Entry is free.
