Lecture by Volodymyr Moizhes, PhD in History, Associate Professor of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of History and International Relations, Director of the Balahuri Archaeological Museum, "Preliminary results of research on the Upper Courtyard of Mukachevo Castle".

UZHHOROD CASTLE
Both permanent and new exhibitions will be presented to the visitors on this day:
- an exhibition of works from the collection of the Nykanor Onatskyi Sumy Art Museum "Treasures of Ukrainian Museums";
- an exhibition of one painting - "Candle of Memory" by Oleksandr Fedyaev (dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Crimean Tatar Genocide);
- art and book-documentary exhibition "In the centre of Europe - towns and villages of the native land" featuring works by classics of Transcarpathian painting and literature (in cooperation with the branch of the Folk Literary Museum of Transcarpathia).
At 18:00, the museum will also host a concert of opera arias and songs "Bel canto" performed by soloist Artem Pozdnyakov and the Con-Temp Trio.
In addition, 18 May will be an open day at the museum itself and at its branches - the Memorial Houses-Museums of People's Artists of Ukraine Andrii Kotska and Fedir Manailo, where thematic collections will also be exhibited on the occasion of the holiday.
