6 December is the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and St Nicholas Day. To mark these dates, regional cultural institutions have prepared a number of themed events.

Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth
3 December at 10:00 - presentation of the book by Halyna Malyk "Uncle Yoy Gathers Herbs";
4 December at 10:00 - literary event "St Nicholas Reads to Children" (as part of the project "All of Transcarpathia Reads to Children");
5 December at 11:00 - presentation of Olga Kuzhdina's book SAM Detective Agency on Ingulka; at 14:30 - thematic event "A Starfall of Christmas Miracles" as part of the Travel and Local History Agency "Travelling Together";
On 6 December at 10:40 a.m., a themed event "Extravaganza of New Year and Christmas holidays".
Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life/Uzhhorod Skansen
From 3 to 8 December, the Residence of St Nicholas will be open in the Shelest Church Museum: from 11:00 to 13:00 for group visits, from 15:00 to 18:00 for individual visits (by appointment). Participation is for a charitable contribution to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Uzhhorod Castle, Tyvodar Lehotskyi Museum of Local Lore
On 3 December at 15:00 - a performance "Visiting St. Nicholas" by the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Puppet Theatre for young visitors of the museum;
5 December at 15:00 - opening of the thematic exhibition "From St Nicholas to Christmas";
6 December at 15:00 - opening of the photo exhibition "Honour and Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine".
Transcarpathian Regional Organisational and Methodological Centre of Culture
5 December at 15:00 - opening of the exhibition-competition of works by students of art schools of the region "St. Nicholas is coming to us" in the hall of the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.
Transcarpathian Regional Theatre of Drama and Comedy (Khust)
5 December at 15:00 - a charity screening of the Snow Queen fairy tale show and a meeting with St Nicholas for children of military personnel.
Transcarpathian Academic Regional Puppet Theatre "Bavka"
5 December at 16:00 - participation in the solemn lighting of the city Christmas tree on Teatralna Square in Uzhhorod;
6 December - a charity screening of the play New Year's Dreams for the families of military personnel;
On 7 and 8 December at 11:00 and 13:00 - screenings of the play Magic Lanterns.
Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y. Bokshay
On 5 December at 14:00 - a charity concert of the brass band of students of the Uzhhorod Music College named after D. Zador; exhibition of thematic art and documentary and book collections. In addition, a charity exhibition and sale of works by contemporary Transcarpathian artists in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be held at the museum's platform "During the War" until 8 December.
Uzhhorod Music College named after D. Zador
5 December at 16:00 - a concert by the students of the college's music studio dedicated to St Nicholas Day (small hall).
Transcarpathian Regional Hungarian Drama Theatre (Berehove)
6 December at 11:00 - screening of the film MYTH on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; at 16:00 - a festive event dedicated to St Nicholas Day for orphans (M. Hubai Studio Hall).
Transcarpathian Academic Music and Drama Theatre named after Sherehiy brothers
On 6 December, at 13:00 and 16:00, free performances for children of military personnel (a joint event with volunteers of the NGO "Freedom-loving");
On 7 December - a screening of the musical performance Bremen Musicians, and on 8 December - fairy tales Adventure in the Carpathians. The beginning is at 12:00.
Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library named after F. Potushnyak
6 December at 15:30 - presentation of the calendar published to mark the library's anniversary. Among the authors is the library's employee Viktor Novhradi-Letso, who is currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

6 December at 18:30 - a concert of the Academic brass band and soloists of the Philharmonic on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and St Nicholas Day.
8 December at 17:00 - Winter Wonderland concert with the participation of the Philharmonic ensembles and soloists.
Honoured Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir
7 December - participation in the traditional 30th Mykolaychyky Parade, which involves performances throughout the day in a number of towns and villages in the region (according to a separate schedule). The event will be held in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Academic chamber choir "Cantus" Cantus Choir
7 December at 17:00 - a concert of sacred music by Ukrainian composers in the Uzhhorod Roman Catholic Church of St George as part of the charity tour "Sounds of Heaven, Voices of Earth" in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
