Lecture "Contemporary World Naïve Art"
The Uzhhorod Skansen will host ais an introductory series of 3 lectures by Oleksandr Liapin on contemporary Ukrainian and world naïve art, its place in the context of contemporary art and its influence on artistic processes.
On 20 November, the lecture "Contemporary World Naïve Art: The Charm of Difficult Simplicity" will be held, dedicated to the history of naïve art in different countries of Europe and America. They will discuss how non-professional artists embody deep feelings, childlike spontaneity and richness of cultural traditions in their works, and the attitude of the state and cultural institutions towards them.
