Decree No. 266/2023 of the President of Ukraine dated 8 May 2023 established Europe Day in Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on 9 May together with the European Union.

On the occasion of Europe Day, regional cultural institutions and cultural educational institutions prepared a number of events:

Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Local Lore named after T. Lehotskyi - a lecture "Western European Cold Weapons of the Medieval and Early Modern Era" by Volodymyr Hutsul, Candidate of Historical Sciences (16:00);
The Academy of Culture and Arts - a concert programme of Ukrainian and Italian songs performed by Artem Pozdnyakov, a student of the university (17:00);
9 May
Uzhhorod Music College - a concert of the college brass band (S. Petofi Square, 15:00) and a concert of the Nemesh sisters from Kyiv (Great Hall of the College, 17:00);
Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library - book exhibitions "Ukraine's European Choice: Achievements, Challenges and Prospects" and "Legislation. The European Vector of Development";
Transcarpathian Regional Library for Children and Youth - Eurocruise "Discovering Europe Together" (service department for grades 5-9) and virtual tour "Countries of Europe" (service department for youth);
Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum - an exhibition of fine art "Seven Natural Wonders of Transcarpathia" dedicated to the Europe Day and the promotion of natural beauty in the Carpathians and in the valleys of the Tisa, Latorytsia, and Uzh rivers;
Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life - a lecture-presentation by the museum director, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vasyl Kotsan for students "The role of international cooperation in the development of museums and the preservation of historical and cultural heritage (on the example of the Uzhhorod Skansen) (13:00); a master class on making hearts from herbs and other eco-friendly materials (14:00);
Transcarpathian Academic Regional Puppet Theatre - performances of the play "Star Baby" (10:00, 11:00, 12:00);
Transcarpathian Regional Theatre of Drama and Comedy - screening of the historical chronicle "The Last Night in Khust" for schoolchildren (13:00);
Transcarpathian Regional Hungarian Drama Theatre - quizzes and competitions dedicated to the Day of Europe for students of the Ukrainian Department of Philology of the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute named after F. Rákóczi II (11:00);
Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre named after brothers Y.-A. and Y. Sherehiy - a performance of the ballet in 2 acts "Soichyne Krylo" by the Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre for Children and Youth (19:00);
Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic - open-air concert "Europe Day in Ukraine" with the participation of the Philharmonic artists (Teatralna Square, 18:00);
Academic Chamber Choir "Cantus" - concerts in Rakhiv (session hall of Rakhiv District Administration, 13:00) and Tyachiv (House of Culture, Tyachiv, 16:00) as part of the charity concert tour "Sounds of Heaven, Voices of Earth";
