16.00 hrs.
Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life, 33a Kapitulna St., Uzhhorod, Ukraine
The You Can art project brought together four non-professional artists. For them, creating paintings is not their main activity. However, it is a hobby that takes up a significant part of their lives, filling it with meaning and pleasure.
The concept of the project is to show other women that "they too can", in addition to their main vocation, find a hobby that will fill them from the inside, which they can then share with the world to give others beauty and positive emotions. And you don't have to be a perfect artist to do this, you just have to be brave, sincere and not afraid to express your feelings and worldview, as Ksenia Nedoluzhenko, Rimma Konar, Tetiana Myhalko and Andrianna Kushnir did.
Ksenia Nedoluzhenko is a cosmetologist, dermatologist, and head of the Vitamin Medical Centre.
She holds degrees in medicine, business management economics and psychology.
He believes that all dreams can come true if you take a small step towards your dream future every day.
She is a guide for women and an organiser of women's circles. She has completed numerous self-development courses and received a coaching certificate.
For her, painting is a way to express her inner world and to live through complex emotions in an environmentally friendly way. She works with acrylics in the author's intuitive painting technique.
She discovered art about three years ago, and since then she has been regularly immersed in the creative process and feels incredibly grateful for this path.
Rimma Konar is an oncologist by profession and vocation, PhD in oncology, and founder of the private mammology clinic RanoK. In addition to medicine as her main occupation, she has many other hobbies, including painting and poetry, through which she reflects on her vision of the world. Rimma began to develop painting as a hobby that brings pleasure and moral rest from her daily work in 2017. In 2018, she held her first personal exhibition "Colourful Morning" in her hometown of Uzhhorod, and in 2023, her second personal exhibition "Blooming Ukraine" in Venice (Italy), which were dedicated to the theme of floristry. Rimma paints in oil, acrylic, watercolour in the technique of classical and contemporary painting with elements of abstraction. Her subjects include landscapes and animal paintings.
Tetiana Myhalko is an artist in the style of abstract expressionism.
Tetiana's creative journey did not begin with art, but with her work as an accountant. Having reached career heights in this field, Tetiana began to realise that she was not living the life she wanted, that everything she had achieved before had been imposed by certain social criteria. These reflections started her creative journey, and her hobby turned into her life.
Thus, in 2021, she quit her job and opened her own art studio, where she began to conduct workshops, develop collaborations with other local artists and improve her work by reflecting her feelings, sensations and life philosophy in abstract paintings.
And in early 2022, she presented her second collection of paintings "Here and Now. The Beginning" at a solo exhibition in her hometown of Uzhhorod. This was followed by collective exhibitions at the Venice Biennale in 2022 and in Rome in 2023.
Kushnir Andrianna, a native of Uzhhorod of Hungarian origin. She is a mother of two beautiful children. Since childhood, she dreamed of being an artist. She graduated from the Uzhhorod College of Arts named after A. Erdeli, Department of Artistic Design. She taught drawing at the art school of Uzhhorod district. Later, she started working in the field of logistics, where she still works today.
Three years later, Andrianna lost the person she cared about most, her husband of 26 years. With this loss came the realisation that there was no time for later, only the here and now. She felt the need to fulfil her childhood dreams and returned to painting.
This is how another new path appeared in her life - art therapy workshops. These women's retreats are a place where every woman can overcome stress and anxiety through art and feel authentic.
The manifestation of Andrianna's creativity is the embodiment of beauty and love of life, which she conveys through acrylics and pastels.
We sincerely invite you to plunge into the world of art by talented women of our region
