On 28 March, at 15 pm, the X Jubilee International Exhibition and Contest "The World of Pysanka" will open in the museum's exhibition hall. This year's format of the anniversary exhibition will be special, as it will combine a competition and charity components.
The best Easter eggs submitted to the exhibition will be awarded prizes in three nominations:
"Author's wax Easter egg"
"Innovative Easter egg"
"Patriotic Easter egg"
At the end of the exhibition, the audience's choice Easter egg will also be determined and awarded.
And, of course, for the third year in a row, the World of Pysanka exhibition will not only create an Easter mood for museum visitors, but also aim to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The proceeds from the sale of Easter eggs will be transferred to the collection for the military
Part of this year's exhibition will be the Light of Easter exhibition, which will feature the collection of the world's only Museum of Easter Egg Painting, a branch of the Y. Kobrynsky National Museum of Folk Art of Hutsulshchyna and Pokuttya, Easter eggs from the private collection of Vira Manko, a well-known researcher and populariser of folk art, author of a number of thematic publications, member of the NSMNMU, and works by the unsurpassed tapestry master, People's Artist of Ukraine Mykhailo Bilas.
