Concert programme "Winter's Tale" by the National Bandura Bandura Band of Ukraine

The National Bandura Choir of Ukraine will perform a concert programme "Winter Fairy Tale" in Mukachevo
On Sunday, 21 January, the famous Mayboroda National Honoured Bandura Choir of Ukraine will perform at the Palace of Culture and Arts.
The concert programme "Winter Fairy Tale" will be extremely powerful and interesting, as it is uniquely different from the rest of the band's concert programmes. Carefully selected carols from all over Ukraine, well-loved and little-known, a cappella and with instrumental accompaniment, ancient and modern - all this colourful mosaic forms a complete picture of a real winter miracle. Instead of an entertainer, there are greetings and sharing, which gives the viewer the impression of a concert in one breath, and the delicate female vocals of the soloist Yana Illarionova, intertwined with the inflorescence of male voices, add a unique flavour to this performance.
The concert programme is designed for 1 hour 30 minutes without intermission.
In Mukachevo, the concert will be held for charity - the families of our defenders and internally displaced persons can attend the concert free of charge, so the city council decided to provide the concert hall of the Palace of Culture and Arts for the national band's performance free of charge.
The time of the concert will be announced additionally.
Feel the fabulous atmosphere of a musical Ukrainian Christmas together with the oldest creative team, which is 105 years old!
What is the National Bandura Choir? To put it simply, these are 45 handsome men who sing and play banduras at the same time. More complicatedly, these are musicians who carry the ancient gene of Ukrainian kobzarism, which is unique to our people and which, despite all the attempts of totalitarian regimes to destroy it, has only hardened and strengthened. Every year, the chapel holds a competition to select the most worthy and brightest individuals to join its ranks in order to continue to nurture this unique cultural trait. Today, 9 members of the group are defending their homeland from Russian aggression in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
