Museum of Hutsul carvings by Yurii Pavlovych
In order to revive and develop traditional folk crafts, the Yurii Pavlovych Hutsul Carving Museum was opened in the building of the Europa Hotel (Rakhiv) on 14 November 2014.
The museum houses plates, bartks, candlesticks, horns carved by the master, which are unique in their kind. The technique of the works is carving, dry carving, inlay with bakunta, mosquito nails, patsyorky, bone, and mother-of-pearl. All the works are presented only in one copy, because the carver does not sell them, in order to create one complete encyclopaedia of Hutsulshchyna.
